Switching from stock 17 inch tires to 18 inch

Hey guys, I'm looking to switch my stock 17 inch tires to the M sport 18 inch tires. I'm not too sure if I need to do anything in order to switch to a bigger size rim or if I need anything to do it.

Can y'all give me some advice on how to go about this? Thanks!

Make sure you know 18 inch tires need 18 inch wheels (or alloys, rims). I know it sounds obvious but some people don't realize this.

Next make sure those wheels fit on your car. It's best to check out different threads in the wheels/tires forum for sizes and spacing. Not all wheels are the same. It will take some research if you're not familiar with wheels.

Hope it works out!

You just need bigger rims/tires. Nothing else needs to change.

Make sure you stick to the same rolling diameter so your speedometer stays accurate. That will mean a narrower sidewall with a bigger wheel.
