To those who swapped out their RFT's
I have a 328i w/sport pkg. and am getting rid of my RFT's after 22,000 miles. I'm pretty set on getting the Bridgestone RE760 sports, I feel they will give a good compromise between wear and handling. My question is there a big difference in steering response compared to the RE050A RFT. I drive about 30K a year and don't want to spend better than a grand every 8-9 months for tires. Thanks.

RFT Better steering response
It may all be in my head but I think the steering response for the RFT is better than my "regular" tires. I switched from the stock run flat RE050 to the regular RE01's which are MUCH stickier tires. The RE01's just feel a little "squishy" at the start of the turn compared to the RE050 and I think the turn starts a smidgen slower. But once the turn is started the stickier tire wins.
