Apple Carplay retrofit?

Hi guys,

i recently bought a bmw g30 but i don't seem to find the applecar play function. I have the mirrorlink app and amazon alexa but can't seem to find apple carplay but it was specified in the specs when i bought the car. Can it be retrofited?

Maybe you only need to let it activated

If you have a G30 then you need to post in the 5 Series forums… Or better yet, just visit your local dealer

If its spec'd then dealership needs to take responsibility to get it activated. Good news is there shouldnt be any hardware retrofit, just a simple activation.
