Ali Express Black Exhaust Tips

So thought i'd bite the bullet and give these exhaust tips a try from Ali Express. So far so good. Can't seem to see the silver from either side.

Hopefully they last long and don't come off! If not then going to have to get the real thing

For a while they were on Amazon Prime, I got some a few months ago for £25 with same day delivery. Not available any more though.

I added a bit of 3m VHB tape to a few areas - they were stuck on solid. I opted to remove them at one point and it was incredibly difficult.

Mine cost similar through Ali Express - They're good considering they take 5 minutes to put on and have the same look as the full black ones which have to be done properly with the bumper taken off etc. Also costs about 5/6 times more!

I didn't opt to put any tape on mine yet - let me see how they hold up in the next few weeks will try pulling them off to see if they move around at all.

I purchased some on Amazon last year but sent them back as the quality and size of them did not fully cover the exhaust tip.
I decided to leave them off and returned for a full refund. I didn't want one falling off because of the heat generated on the tips.

I will wait and see how long it lasts before it falls off might be ok who knows!

With regards to the fit they're not bad at all - covers the whole area. You have to look really closely in order to see the silver, but not sure if anyone ever will

Just a quick update!

Looks like they didn't last half as long as i'd hoped they would.

See attached 😅

Sorry - it looks like it didn't attach from the images on my phone.

The gloss black is completely gone and it's pure matte now.

I ordered in November, but installed in March..

Wow that sucks, mine are still holding up.
Looks like an easy enough fix though, but may take some effort

Take off, spray paint, add tape, slap it on

Typical Chinese trash. Powder coat the OEM one. Why cheap out on a $80k truck? No $25 item is going on my cars.
