Wheel/tire question.
So, the wheels that came with my '22 530i are so blah ( 245-45-18 ) , I despise them to tell ya the truth, so I might have a deal on these 19's. Inside my cars settings for tires, there are 3 choices for 19's, and ( 255/35/19 ) isnt one of them. Both are 5x112 , and I believe both are 30 offsets. Why am I limited to 3 tire sizes in the tire settings? Whats the downside of mounting these, and choosing the wrong size in the tpms settings? As you can see, Ive never swapped tires on a car TIA

Don't do it. They are different sizes. Always use tire size calculator. Minor difference would be ok but....... It's up to you to decide and take a risk.
Plug your numbers here: https://tiresize.com/comparison/ Here, I did it for you. |

Wow, that is an awesome calculator ! Thanks. So if Im doing 80mph, my actual speed would be less? That could be beneficial in my life haha . I plugged in the numbers for offset, and this has differences as well, both being 30 , not sure what is considered minor, or extreme

So, if I was to buy these wheels, and when Im due for my first tire change, if I swapped out for 255/40/19 , this would get me closer to the speedometer. Less than 1mph difference opposed to ~ 2mph. Does anyone think the offset in this situation is an issue ?

The wheels pictured above look like the 19" 664M, assuming 19"x8", 30mm offset for the square set up. The factory standard tire size for that wheel is 245/40/R19. That size should be the default for 19" in the iDrive settings.
