DME cracked 2022 M5 ecu…….

Hi guys, I don't want to completely speak on behalf of DME but my buddy who owns a high end shop in Massachusetts told me DME said they could crack the ecu and flash my 2022 m5 CS. They said it would be three weeks and 140 extra whp with my exhaust set up I have coming in. Sounds like things are promising on the tuning front.

This has been possible for months. The reason it takes 3 weeks is because they send it to russia which is what everyone else does to crack 06/2020+ ecus. There is nothing special about what dme does, they charge way more than their competitors too for their stolen OTS tune.

The cost to send the ecu to russia for unlock is €750 + shipping one way. They charge almost 4k. It’s downright scammy and their tunes are much less power than advertised

Now this is good to know. I did not know this. I can't believe a US company hasn't cracked it yet.

Ive said this is before… DME is not a tuner, they just redistribute files they buy.

I wonder if the 3 week wait for DME to turnaround your ECU involves sending it to Russia? I have no doubt that eventually more tuners will hack the ECU, but honestly it looks like there is only one right now with others like DME and RK just making promises.

lmaoo it was like this back in 2018 as well this russian guy cracked the ecus as well only until he leaked his way to bm3 and etc and they stole it from him if fetemvo doesn't release his methodology he is golden he cant have it be stolen again so only way will be sending ecus to russia

I stopped by GoAuto in Nashua last week. Spoke with the owner who said he expects to have a bench tune solution for 2020+ M550's with the locked ECU's by end of Summer.

They are opening another location in July. It will have 12 bays and an AWD dyno. They tune a LOT of fast cars. Every time I drive by, there's a lambo, 911, etc on the lot. Even saw a Bugatti one day.

You probably have seen some of their GTR's at the track.

BM3 is a platform flasher, there's nothing for them to steal.

Femto is in Finland not Russia currently.
My friends from OrlandoAutowerks have been sending ECUs and getting it unlocked by them weekly, they work very fast and things are much smoother shipping wise.

not even so stealed femto again was first to crack the ecus and nobody else knew how to do it until his way was leaked. why he is so hesitant to trust anyone now
