Does anyone know is the fuel pump issues are still a concern with the 2009 335i model

Just wondering? Good news as I might have a decent offer coming today for my 2008 Lexus ES350.

Haven't seen a complaint yet. Mine is singing beautifully.

Have a feeling 09s will still have HPFP failures.

Have a 08 with 13 K miles and so far so good........

I sincerely hope you get to either 1) keep your ES350 and be content with it or 2) buy the 335 that you want soon. Otherwise we'll be in for more "harrington's random thought of the day" threads.

BMW stated the issue was fixed for the 2008 model year, then lots of 2008's had issues (including mine), so I think it is a crap shoot, but at least it rarely leads anyone stranded, gives lots of warning and the dealers all have them in stock, so it is a minor inconvenience these days - unlike the early ones that where in the shop for weeks!

+1 mine was replaced at 2500 miles, 4/08 build, except my dealer did not have the part in stock - but the part was in the next day (after they took two days to get around to looking at it)
