? for E93 owners

Anyone else notice a popping noise from the top when driving your e93 at an angle over uneven ground, top up of course. Sounds like the top is shifting when the body is twisting.

Yes, on big bumps. It seems louder when it's raining and all the weather stripping is wet. Not a big deal though.

Occasionally, I hear a creak or groan if I go over a big bump (and the music isn't turned up), but in general, I'd say no to what you're experiencing. But I'm sure there's a lot of torsional flexing going on in a situation like you've described, and if there's any looseness in the top mechanism, you'll probably hear it shifting. Do you have any leakage during rain or carwashing?

I think so. I get a little drip down each widow right where the top meets the windshield frame.

From what I've seen on the forums, anything less than a slight drip is apparently normal for the E93. I guess I'm lucky in that I haven't experienced any leakage whatsoever, even in a rollover touchless pressure wash. When I pressure wash the car in the winter by hand, I'm careful not to let the spray linger on the seams.

I mean I hear a bit of body roll when I'm going down my driveway at an angle, but nothing like a loud pop

Garage List
I get sound from the back when I turn out of the driveway and the body flexes a little. I'm assuming it's from the seal under the back window. But I've never heard creaks in the seal in the middle of the roof.

I haven't had any leaks when washing the car. But I always wash by hand using low pressure to sheet soap off the car.
