Starting issue after HPFP
Wanted to see if anyone has some insight on this issue. Just attempted to install a B58TU HPFP on my 2017 m240i. After installation the car would crank over but not start. Rechecked the extension harness for connectivity, no issue there. Removed the pump and saw there was no fuel out of the high pressure side. Reinstalled the factory pump and car fired right up. I purchased the pump through a third party so hoping it was not a faulty pump. The pump appeared to be factory sealed when I purchased it.
