I just placed an order for a M50i and my build sheet has the 6UX code. I personally always use voice activation for GPS so I don't consider it a huge loss, but my wife does use the handwriting feature from time to time so she's a bit bummed out.

I was looking at several new 2022 M50i on Autotrader, and I noticed one thing. It seems that the non-touch controller is always paired with non-glass control stick (#1 and #2 below), and glass-control stick is always paired with touch controller (#3 and #4 below). Can anyone confirm that you have received a car with glass control + non-touch controller? Since my build has exec package, I'm remaining hopeful that once the car goes into production, it'll still have the touch controller even though my build sheet right now has 6UX.

My non-glass iDrive controller has touch capabilities. I did not include the executive package in my build - too much artistic fluff. Good luck.

It's the controller as stated in my title. I do t have 6UY so I should have the touch screen.

Does any M50i owner have executive package (with glass control) and still end up getting the non-touch iDrive controller?

I have the executive package and 6UX on my build. I will let you know when I get it, but my dealer has seen many 6UX vehicles come in lately and all of them did have the touch capabilities on the idrive knob.

Got it. Mine's supposed to arrive at Southern California railyard on 4/1, but still hasn't arrived yet. I was supposed to pick it up today and I'm getting anxious now

I definitely will. I really hope to get the car by next weekend but I'm not having much hope at this point.

You should be able to track it via the my garage? If the car is stuck on the train, you shall be able to look it up on the train carrier’s website or call them to ask

How do you know which rain carrier is used? How do I check with them without information from the bull of lading?

Most city only has one rail. Find the number and the VIN should be able to tell where the car is. Only problem is you are not the actual owner now so you need to give the name of the dealership.

My bad. There are multiple rails in some cities. But you should be able to ask your dealer for a railyard name. Then you can give them a call and ask. VIN number should be the tracking. I've dealt with containers a lot. Most time they can give me a time frame or what's going on with the delay.

Thanks. I'm going to check with my dealer tomorrow to see if he has any information. Although, he's been updating me every other day and I'd assume he'd tell me any information that he's already been able to find out.
