Why does the trim in the last pic look pearl? Also did you replace the glass on the sunroof with a CF panel?

I made the trim real brushed aluminum and the roof with the sunroof is being cut off and being replaced with an OEM m3 CF roof.

The part is almost 1700 with tax alone. A body shop would charge 1500-2000 to install. I'm doing the work myself, except for the glass. I installed my CF roof on my e46 M3.
