just proceed with caution... Perillo has been known to have some shitty ass customer service in the past. I think if you search you'll find some stuff on here of customers experiences, some good, some bad.

Thanks for the help, I am not worried much about customer service as I will purchase it and bring it back to Seattle, just curious if they have a history of sold cars that have any major issues...

not that I know of... except one dude who got an e93 and they ruined his creme leather and broke the motor to make is top go up and down.... that was the service dept though.
i hear Joe Perillo himself is a sleeze... thats why I said you might want to search before you actually come out here to buy it cuz they could throw some shit at you last second and make your whole trip pointless. |

I actually just purchased my e92 from them. I worked with Sebastian and he was very upfront with all the details behind the cars. Since they are part of a broader dealer network, they have access to a fair amount of car history for a used car dealership.
They get a variety of cars from California as oppose to trade-ins from around the area. I was able to see the full car maintenance history and carfax report before we even went for a test drive. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any other questions. If you do end up going with them, go with Sebastian and tell him Justin sent you. |

Outlet is a sham!
The outlet they run is a joke, since they have a BMW store they would logically CPO any decent piece. The stuff that ends up there is junk. I looked at a 1300 mile car they had, pulled to the left like crazy. When I looked at the front tire, one of them was corded on the inside shoulder...1300miles keep in mind. Of course I got the "we'll fix it, it's warrantied, etc" I pulled the VIN and car was lemonlaw buyback. Also hood had been repainted. Don't say we didn't warn you. Also watch Luxury Motors.

I just bought a CPO 335xi from Perillo. I am an out of state buyer and agreed to buy the car before I read the numerous negative feedbacks. I have to say at least for me, the car was as advertized and in good condition. (an 08 w/ 15K miles) I have put about 1200 miles on it so far with no problems. I dealt with Ken Reffsin and he made an out of state sale very easy.
It seems that much of there negative feedback centers around the service department, which I will not be using. |

Most cars they sell was buy back..that is something. I have a cuban friend who work at that preown outlet.. He advised me do not buy any cars that was driven in CA and then transfer here. 90 percent of them have some issue. Since the CA lemon law are very stricted, they will just bought them at a really low price at the auction then sell it high at chicago area. shaddy business I would say..

I got my car from there, i was also out of state. CPO'd 335i. All in all i can't say they are a great dealer with good customer service. But the car fax was pretty clean and had warranty, So I bought it. Only thing i wished i would have caught was the previous owner curbed the front right bumper and they didn't let me know about that. Even though i asked them to walk around the car and note every scratch, issue etc. Of course they said, nope, it's super clean. I then noticed some curb rash on the wheels that i asked them to take care, which they did. But ask for specific pictures, or better yet, have a non-dealer person go and check the car out. Not much you can do, when you fly out and pic it up sight unseen.
But good luck, do your homework and trust your gut. There's always another car if this one doesn't feel right.
