09's no longer have logic7 standard. I would have had to pay extra.

No valet key, no glove box flashlight, no air cooled center console and who knows what else is missing.

And the worst part is.......09 models were around 2% higher in price. Bait and switch. Okay okay, I got the new idrive but I still had to pay for it so that doesnt count.

And my salesman told me that I had an oil cooler and logic7 standard and I dont have either which makes me mad.

I still love the car, Im going outside to clay and wax it right now. And I am happy about the new stuff the 09 got like the little chrome bits and better hvac/audio layout.

I think the chrome bits on the cup holders and light switch look nice. I havent really seen an 08 so I dont know how much more chrome I got.

Logic 7 doesnt rock. Its the same as I got only worse.........(thats what I tell myself, lol)

Yep - your absolutely correct - I repriced my 08 and it is $5k more even though they claim the price increase was only 2.5% and there was another increase of 2.5% midyear, but the car is now 10% more because they took a bunch of options out of the packages and think no one will catch on that the car went up 10% in one year - I would defect to Audi, but they are even more money for equivalent vehicles!

But you can get front PDC and a heated steering wheel.

I wouldn't pay the $10k to trade up. But I have cold hands and need to park in front of concrete ties more often than I have a soda in the center console.

No valet key??? Are you sure about this? Is there no lock anymore on the glove box? Does that mean the switch inside the glove box to lock out the trunk is also missing?

logic 7 isnt standard...well at least in canada it isnt in the 335i.

My girlfriend has the 09. Just checked ... it definitely has the valet key.

To the OP, the valet key is in the key fob itself.

I haven't heard Logic 7 but standard system on 335i still rocks!
My girl friend was blown away by the sound system when we watched a DVD in my car.
And new i-drive is totally worth for everything we lost in 09.
Plus chrome pieces on the knobs and switches definately give more finished look.

I just had my cup holders replaced with the new design...looks ok.

Is the oil cooler still packaged with the performance tire options (higher speed limit)?

You're also missing glovebox power point, hood (heat) insulator pad and some tools from the tool kit.

Yup, im missing the wrench in the tool kit. As for the valet key, I meant that yellow plastic wallet key.

No hood insulator, glove box flashlight or power supply.

I have the sports package but not the 18in wheels. My salesman said that I had an oil cooler even after asking twice. I had no idea to actually look for it. So thats not completely BMWs fault, but not giving me one because I chose 17s is just stupid.

The heated steering wheel is awesome. It heats up real fast and is actually useful.

Biggest disappointment is that I was told the logic 7 was standard, which is was, just not for 09s. Im at fault for not checking certain things, but BMW definately took away features while adding to the cost.

The HVAC is now on top and the audio is on the bottom. The radio used to have two slots and now only has one. Its more streamlined and with less buttons.

Although if you didnt have iDrive, I have no idea how you would know what station the radio was on??

And yes the 09s have the new iDrive, but that shouldnt be a factor. The price still went up and features still went down regardless if you paid for the updated iDrive.
