Alternator overcharge?
I have just got INPA to work and I am getting the below readings making me think I have a faulty alternator. The Battery in the car is a 90AH AGM and using NCS I can see the car is coded for a 90AH AGM so that is correct.
First image is with the engine running and the second image is engine off. The voltage is excessive but I don't know what PWG readings are Can anyone shed some light on this reading please? Is it just an alternator fault or could it be something else? |

Just to add it shows it is over charging by 2AH, should I try coding a slightly lower AH battery to the car? (Excuse what looks like poor editing in the photo, it is from a translation app on my phone)

No fault codes shown on INPA.
The reason I was checking is because I get an intermittent "increased battery discharge" warning on the dash. I think using the dash menu it said "CC-415" With a multimeter the alternator is charging at around 14.5V |

Thats usually a duff battery.
14.5v is ok, if a little low infact. Quite common to see low 15's on a vehicle with an AGM battery. INPA is showing an alert because the scale is badly labled. The range is V but the numeral displays mV so its always going to be well over the maximum, by a factor of 1000 times. |
