What price would you sell your manual M2(OG/LCI) at?
Shopping around at the mo, and want to gauge what price people would sell there manual m2? And what mileage it is for that price?
Also are prices likely to dip, as soon as new M2 is announced? I assume most existing owners would possibly want to upgrade to new M2 judging by how well the m240 is getting received? UK owners only please. |

I've just bought mine at the end of the PCP term as there's nothing out there for me. The 240 was nice, fast and very competent, but that's it, doesn't give me the same feeling as my M2 and the auto is just vague and disappointing coming from a manual.
Also not sure about values dropping too much when the new M2 comes out as that will probably be 10k+ more than what people paid for an OG M2. I'd love to say I could buy a new one, but I think I'll be priced out unless big dealer discounts come in to play. |

I'm buying the m2c at end of 4y pcp in October.
I've only done 16k miles and it's only £21k to pay it off. Nothing comes close for that price. Manual of course. Intersting "how many left" shows only 300 or so manuals, should help with values going forward... |

Bought mine about 3 months ago. Absolutely love it. Obviously I’m going to be biased but agree with comments… not sure what else out there that balances everything so well in a coupe form (or 2 door saloon). For UK roads not sure more power has any benefit - plenty to overtake on single roads instantly. Four seat practicality, is understated but also has presence, and sounds awesome when pootling around.
And yes - it’s just as rare as the 1M in manual form. Only 664 OG M2s and 428 Comps, and 37 CSs. Perfect size too… the new M2 is going more into the E92 M3 territory size wise. Even though I would want to change into something else in a few years, I’d probably have to downgrade in terms of practicality, or running cost. Or even performance if I go for a manual car. Cheapest I’ve seen an M2 for was £20k for a low miler - but that was a CAT C and was up for sale at Christmas. Anyway time will tell how much these drop, I’m hoping at somepoint these actually start going up in value (at least in manual form) |

So I’ve been reading online the new M2 will only be available in manual for left hand drive cars only… so for the UK the f87 might be the last manual M car…

I remember ordering mine, the bmw salesman saying "a manual, what? Nobody buys manuals anymore, it will be really hard to sell later on and worth £1000's less" yeah right...

I dont care what its worth, tbh mines a keeper, I might pop along to Lichfield at some point to try a chip. I bought my E39 M5 with 15k miles on the clock and it was loved and used until about 130k miles
