2022 BMW X7 in Grigio Telesto Pearl Individual

Wife's new ride is here! I've got to list of OEM+ mods/changes to make, but it's a nice starting point. This color really changes depending on the light.

For comparison, Grigio Telesto in the sun vs Porsche's Graphite Blue and vs Audi's Quantum Grey (which is slightly more brown than Nardo):

I'm not sure how the Individual paint process differs from the standard X7, but the vehicle did arrive with a couple notable paint defects on the rear hatch/bumper that required a trip to the bodyshop.

I always say I don't like that color, but then I see it on the whole car and it does look good. Yeah, those blemishes shouldn't have made it out of the factory.

Actually, it's my wife current and former car. I would have gone a different route. My cars blue/green/purple.

Awesome color. I’m sorry the paint didn’t arrive perfect from the factory.

I’d love to see this color next to Dravit. Looks so similar.

They’re two completely different colors. Dravit gives off an amber tone in some lights.

Yes. I understand it is a different color. I own a Dravit X7.

In a lot of those pics, it looks the same as my ride. That's why it'd be nice to see them next to each other.

Doesn't Dravit have a bit of a gold metallic undertone? This seems more silver.

I hope they’re taking care of that paint for you, that’s actually incredible for them to deliver the car with bubbles like that. Even with standard paint that would be some BS. Looks sharp otherwise

I have individual paint on my M4. For my understanding individual colors you get a special stamp inside the engine bay the engine bay and frame are also all painted the same color as exterior.

Also I believe from what I can see the clearcoat has less orange.

Most likely what you're seeing is someone who put the car on the transportation vehicle Damage the car during transportation. Beautiful color! I would highly recommend if you're very anal about keeping the paint looking pristine look into having the car professionally ceramic coated.
