Hello everyone. Does anybody know the part#, if it even exists, for the leather trim that surrounds the center console on the sides on both driver and passenger side?

Is that Fiona Red or Tacora Red?

If it's Fiona Red then I think part number is 51168074770 assuming no change between pre-LCI and LCI.

Realoem shows two parts for a center console.

You would have to replace the whole center console. Not very affordable or realistic to replace just for 2 leather pieces in my optimism.

It’s the link to the leather panels with a part number and price. What more do you need? What do you want to look at pictures for? You know what the part looks like.

That part, eg. part # 51168074770 (for VAHZ leather/stitching code), is for the whole/entire center console, on X4.

If X4 fits on X3 for center console then yeah, if you can match the same leather code as one has in X3.

Anyway, mine (MAPQ) doesn't even show up.

The part you keep referring to is the entire console, not just leather panels. You can not just get the panels around the center console trim. The link you provided is useless for what I was even stating to you in the first place.

The X4 console is not the same shape as the X3 console anyways.

Actually my plan was to get the whole center console, because you just cannot get those two leather pieces.

I was all set to order, and read up on replacing the again, whole center console in TIS, looks easy enough.

Then you say, x4 != x3 for center console?



What's interesting is that F97/F98 X3 use the same center console part numbers as G02 X4.

From the research I did in past I saw there was different contour to the trims. If it shows as the exact same part number, then go for it.

This is my car, an X4 M40i with the carbon fiber center console from a X3M Competition as mine is a 2021 model that came with full piano black one, so I would say yes...X3 and X4 consoles are same shape. Just the X4 has a leather part where the X3 has a soft plastic one. Actually X3M has it in leather too.

Well, i will know soon enough. I have fairly good working relationship with local parts lead, will see if he will charge me restocking fee if i end up returning.

Goal here is to once i have the part, see closer whether the two side leather pieces could actually get removed, and installed without making things worse.

Otherwise the whole thing will need to get replaced.

Rationale i'm using is, F97 and G02 share common parts. I see in another thread this G01 (if it is really a G01) in seoul took F97 parts including center console. Hence G02 ought to be direct replacement G01. Again will see.

I was more worried looking through TIS last night, there were more stuffs i may need to disconnect such as usb hub, air bag controllers, etc. but looks like they maybe mounted on the carpet floor, and not attached to the center console itself. Can't be sure but looks that way.

If this swap can be done even if as a whole replacement, the outcome would be worth it, i think.
