Exclamation MHD Burble tune not working??

Hoping someone can help me out, Ive got a FBO 07 e92 flashed w MHD. Until about a month ago I was flashed on stg0 with catted DP"s and chopped up stock exhaust ("greasy straight pipe"). The car banged hard between gears and very very hard on decel starting at about 3k RPM's. After doing the full VRSF race setup from the turbos back I expected to bang alot harder since there's nothing in the exhaust to stop it. After flashing MHD stg2 with the same burble settings as before the car hardly makes any burble noise. The best way to explain it is, it sounds like they're popping in the mid pipe instead of traveling the whole exhaust. I'm getting pretty frustrated because i love the loud gunshots and bangs when I'm out cruising. Hoping someone has had the same problem and can help me resolve. Thanks in advance!!!!

Maybe your car decided it was tired of all the stupid shotgun bangs?

In all seriousness....I would double check all of your settings in MHD and make sure something didn't' accidentally get changed.

Honestly my guess would be you probably had an exhaust leak with the hacked up stock exhaust lmao

If the new vrsf exhaust doesn't have the kats then its probably because of that. The reason the burble works is it dumps raw fuel after the throttle closes on decel. Whether it does this via ign timing or injector pw I don't know, point is the kats retain a lot of heat and the honeycomb inside causes the unburnt fuel to ignite, giving you that burble you crave. No kats, no comb, less burble.
