Possible steering rack issue. Help??

Today I’ve noticed a whining noise when turning. It only happens at slow speeds when parking. I’m guessing it’s steering rack. Has anyone experienced this before?? And also, will my car have hydraulic power steering or the electrically assisted?? So I can check my steering fluid because I can’t seem to find the reservoir
