2024 X3???

I came upon this photo on Facebook from a member. Can this possibly be the 2024 BMW X3?

I had a 2022 4 series grand coupe loaner with the same door handles which I hated. It made the doors so heavy to open and not that great grip when opening the doors.

Just some dude in Russia who lost his job at McDonalds. Too much time on his hands. Creating renderings and posting them online. Nothing to see here.

The X3 just had its LCI. If they follow general automotive life cycles, the next replacement will likely be 2026, not 2024.

There’s some spy shots of a new body style. We’re likely looking at mid 2024 announcement of a new X3 for the 2025 model year. Don’t anticipate much changing for the 2023 and 2024 model years given the LCI for 2022.

Yes, the new X1 is all over the internet, the speculation is the X3 will adapt the same look.

Pretty much this. Next one is rumored to be MY2025, which releases sometime in 2024. Not going to be earlier than that.

Some rumors said that the next upcoming 2024 BMW X3 will come with a full redesign interior and exterior as next-generations. but till now BMW has not said anything about whether it will be redesigned or not for 2024.

BMW: Just don't borrow any design cues from this, and the new X3 should be okay!

Just as you said, they are rumors with no value at all, and should be ignored. MY24 is not getting a full redesign, that is for the MY25 which starts production in 08/24.

G45 X3
  • Start of production 08/24-10/3
  • Will be available with all types of drivetrains but will focus on electric motors and hybrids.
  • There will still be X3M (G97). The top level (non full M) ICE model is getting the M50i designation, whether or not it bring any significant power increase is unclear. I strongly doubt it will have over 500hp like the current 50i/M50i models.
  • Two US gas models to start (base - no designation known yet, and M50i), no new engines, making a step up in luxury (standard comfort access, Iconic Glow exterior like on the next 5 series, fancier interior materials, driver aids matching the current X5 - also means no L3 autonomy, the best audio is still HK, ID8 dash), M50i also has standard M Sport suspension (adaptive optional), different wheels, and the usual M interior and exterior parts.

Bottom pic is too small to be an X3 and is more likely the X1.

The bottom pic is consistent with other artists' rendering of the '25 X3 but I think the concept art is a bit off from reality. I've seen the front end concept art and it doesn't look like the real deal that's been spotted on the Nurburgring.

https://www.bmwblog.com/2023/02/01/2...g-nurburgring/

Compare against this concept art:
https://www.bmwblog.com/2023/03/01/f...g-2025-bmw-x3/

The concept depiction of the rear makes it look like the RDX, no?

Yep. Looking at the proportions it looks smaller than the X3.

One thing we can guarantee will happen, gauges will be replaced by LARGE massive screens connected to entertainment screen, wrap around screens, no shifter, going electronic switch, lose most button, now mostly touchscreen and easy functions with knobs/buttons will now be buried in touchscreen menus. May not be so bad if iDrive knob is left in tack.

Yeah, probably will be taking the Audi route, mostly all touch...not good!
