Had my x3m done at 700 went in for some recall and they asked if i wanted to get the break in servicr done while at it

I was at my dealer last weekend. The service advisor said to wait till at least 900 miles. Currently 704 on the odometer.

Mine was only 300 miles, while the car at dealer 3 weeks for left front tire replacement (left front tire blow out) Steven Creeks BMW went a head without asking me, they did the break in, when I got 1200 miles, I found out from the dealer I bought the car from. Steven Creeks BMW in San Jose, California is not a good dealer....

Nobody doing themselves a favor having it done too early or too late. It's there for a reason.

I was at 1,180 for mine. Probably about as close as I could have gotten to 1,200.

In less than 2 weeks of ownership (incl. 5 days at the detailing center), I plan to be at 2.000 kms (1.200 miles) for D day

460 kms missing.

I am just driving it for nothing, just pleasure, on good roads for break in (no highways).
