I signed up online last night so I can be kept in the loop on track days. I'm itching to take a rip around a track somewhere, ideally Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. That an Loudon (which sucks because it's a crappy Nascar oval) seem to be the only ones in New England and they're not even open to the public without being part of a car club :/

There's a meeting at BMW Peabody's Centennial Dr location on Wednesday, I might go to see what it's all about. Anyone else going to be there? I won't know anyone :/

you can definitely drive loudon w/o being affiliated with a local chapter.
i did around 4 last year and was never a member. i think i paid a few bucks more htough.

and the oval is what the nascar guys drive, but the car clubs usually do the road course, which is the same one the motorcycles do. you can find a few vids on youtube

i had a great time up there and hope to do a few more tracks in 09

i joined and bought tickets to the event at the danvers port club on 31st of jan...i think it will be a good time ...hopefully ill see you guys there

Oh, I didn't know they had a road course. Were you able to do that or do they only open the oval to the non-club-affiliated public? I'm not going if all I can do is the oval.
