I’m trying to install a booster seat in the back of my G05 (M50i if it matters) and the rear side headrest is interfering with a good install. Is it possible to remove the headrest? I’ve seen videos for the front and for prior generations, but can’t find anything on the G05 rear. Thanks in advance!

Well, the user's manual says they cannot be removed, but I read somewhere if you pop off the plastic cover where the post goes, it can be removed...don't blame me if it doesn't work!

I've never tried it, but this was discussed in relation to the centre rear headrests here: https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1860945

I would guess the side ones are similar (but with only one of the two poles having grooves).
