May 2018 car - alexa no longer compatible?

Hi all,

My May 2018 440i was working absolutely fine with Alexa, but at some point in the past few months it stopped working. Looking in the MyBMW app it now says not supported, yet digging out an old screenshot from November last year, it very definitely was:

November 2021:

July 2022:

Also, on the connected drive renewal page it has an asterisk next to "Alexa" saying it only works on November 2018 cars onwards, when did they change this and break it for cars on which it already worked?

Cheers!

I think I am affected. I have a Feb 2019 build. BMW Connected Services (online) even lists that I my subscription includes Amazon Alexa Car Integration.

What did you find out?
