I had a 2022 M50i and upgraded to a 23 M60i - gas mileage is definitely better. Still figuring out final, but I seem to be averaging about 3-4 miles per gallon better. The hybrid start/stop is seamless on the 2023, and on the 2022 I could not stand it and always turned it off.

I think they're doing it where a proper ///M variant of the vehicle does not exist and may never exist.
