I love that "Made IN USA"!

The Ivory White Extended Merino leather is beautiful!

This is a great bold color… I would love to see it with the chrome trim as well and I think I would go for a black interior.

It is interesting to see made in the USA behind a car that I think most associate with Germany but I know that lots of the large BMWs and Mercs SUVs are now made in the US given this is where the market is - smart on their part save on shipping.

I think "Assembled in the USA" would be more appropriate.

This is the combo I have on my X5 right now... Ametrine with ivory white interior. Sad to see it go... but moving on to an X7 in blueridge mountain with ivory/atlas grey interior.

This vehicle is completely made in America aside from the engine.

This dealership takes specific pride in that because the nearby steel mill is the primary supplier to Spartanburg

It really is the best of both worlds. BMW engineering and production quality but local manufacturing with a large amount of locally sourced materials.

Plus, the Spartanburg facilities are very impressive indeed. BMW did a great job there.

Wishful thinking. Assembled in America, yes. While the steel may be sourced in the states, the reality is that the vehicle is a consolidation of global parts with less than 50% of that content coming from North America.

Roughly 70% of X line vehicles are exported from the States.

Not debating the term and more interested if there is data on the percentage of parts coming abroad, yet

The US plant is a leading plant in making X7s. If I am correct, it is the only BMW plant globally making new 2023 right now.

Lots of jobs with advanced technology are created here. BMW did an amazing job in the Spartanburg plant.

I am so proud this vehicle is manufactured in the US!

No to belabor the point. But my X3M Comp's build quality is absolutely horrendous. QA is terrible and I'm ashamed to say that it's assembled in the USA along with the fact that it's German assembled rivals are just that much better.

Same...had my dealer chasing down a sunroof rattle, unsuccessfully. I finally figured it out myself. One of the sunroof mount screws were left totally loose, allowing the washer to vibrate against the glass over certain bumps. Took over 7 full turns to tq it down.

X7 QC faired much better though

That surprises me. I did not spend more than a few hours on any X-car so my perception may be too high level, but sitting on an X4M a few weeks ago I could not tell there was a difference in quality compared to my 4-series, which I consider to be very good.

Correct and I do ultimately agree. It is BMW's largest manufacturing facility by volume. If I am not mistaken, the only X that has production outside of the US is certain X3s (South Africa). All X7s are built in SC.

The parts content data is on the window sticker. Roughly 77% of the vehicle content is foreign to North America.

Foreign to America - Mexico & Canada get credit for a good chunk

This is also the same paint on the pre-LCI model. It is nice, and I feel it is a better match with the current design.

If I'm not mistaken I believe the X1 is built/assembled outside the US.
