BMW X7 2023 LCI in a new paint? Anyone knows what paint is that?

I love the paint and the background!

Does anyone know what paint it is? This X7 is in Florida right now.

Is it though? The lighting (the fact it’s dusk/dawn) could just be affecting the appearance. Looks kind of like the green option with an orange hue to me.

The contrast of the photo is all out of wack so there's no telling what color this is.

So you think the picture is manipulated? Not sure why the paint of the cars in the background is so real!

Where did the photo come from? Dealer site?

It is not a new color "paint" (the photo is edited and you can't tell anything). Let's do our best to accurate info and reduce any misinformation. BMW does NOT offer any other colors other than those available on the website and it does not offer individual colors yet. This is just the manhattan green, likely. Nothing new yet.

It is posted by "grand_lux_cars" account online. It seems they don't post fake BMW pictures as far as I see.

I sent the photo to my photographer, and he analyzed it via a photo manipulation detection tool, he texted me the following: "Pixels only match software editors" ..//.. "Based on the pixels, colors could have been edited with: software: Apple ImageIO.framework or software: Photomatix".

The colors are manupulated. It is just the manhattan green color as other mentioned, but the photo is slightly manipulated.

I am just curious if this is really manipulated, what is the real paint in the dusk or similar situation?

There is heavy color editing/filters with this photo. If you can't realize that on your own I don't know what to tell you.

Definitely, the image is altered using a simple filter such as Vivid Warm or Dramatic Warm.

As per the different BMW dealers I have been in contact with, no individual colors for 2023 X7 as of yet. You can get frozen "matte" colors for an extra 5k. However, that will delay your build a few more weeks. Also, any nicks or scratches from road debris will be a pain and costly to paint. Anyone getting frozen colors must definitely get the whole car PPF'd IMO.

I would guess 80 percent of the stores in the country have never dealt with an individual color request.

My point being don't believe a ca that says individual is not an option.

I would ask them when was the last time you placed an individual order .

The visualizer shows individual for the x7 .

If the ca told you individual will be available bike week xx, then we are moving somewhere.

There is also the bmw blog post with British racing green.

Individual paint was available on the pre lci

Emailed my ca, as we are working on a ruby red 23 order (once my wife gives final sign off…)

Said he hadn't heard of any restriction on individual orders for the 23.

As we know they have built several frozen cars and the British race green example. Tho not sure if any for customers yet.

In a few weeks when I get an order in I will flag what bmw says

I just got an individual color, frozen black metallic. I picked it up over the weekend.
