Front Kidney Grills removal ?

Is it easy to pop out the kidney grills? I'll be installing a laser jammer and I don't want to break the grills. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Easy. I learned the hard way when some yahoo backed into my 330i and punctured a kidney.

It's fairly easy as long as you know the technique. Read some of the DIYs on the forum

You need to unscrew the four torx bolts holding the top of the bumper on. That will allow you to properly access the tabs of the kidneys from the back without breaking the tabs.

I might need to buy that kit. I've had an M-45 sitting in my closet for nearly a year now because I dont want to install it myself

Not hearing the best things about the latest Blinders, but the cheetah may resolve the leak issues.

Leak issues? How would a wireless kit fix anything?

Google it...leak may still exist although the motorcycle casing may be more secure. Lazermask the clone seems better, although not wireless.
