Dinan Resonator Delete - Small leak
Hi all,
I installed the Dinan Resonator Delete kit today on my 2018 M2 and I found a very small air leak at the front end of the pipe. The leak is only noticeable upon cold start when putting my hand near it. The back side of the pipe (side closest to the exhaust) doesn't have a leak. The clamp is very tight and tightening it further would damage the clamp. I spoke with my buddy who has an exhaust shop and he says small leaks are common with clamp installations which is why shops often suggest welding. There isn't any noticeable noise or smell. Should I be concerned? Will this affect power or sound at all? TIA |

Shouldn't be an issue as long as you don't hear it. How do you like the sound?
