Interested in possibly transferring my lease on a 2022 bmw x7 with 25 months remaining. 3 year 30k miles lease with ONLY 2,500 miles on the clock. Plenty of extra miles for those who drive a lot. If you put down $6500 in MSD then there is a chance that someone will pay it back to you, assuming that BMW will return it at the end of the lease. If it is just a deposit, that went into a black hole, its unlikely that you will get that back on lease transfer of an outgoing model....

I was referring to the fact that with used car values, only2k miles, and not having a single rock chip or scratch the car is worth $8-10k over what I owe. If no one is interested in taking over the lease with the residual value I'll just sell it no problem. Last year I transferred my lease on my x3m with $7k on top because of how well used cars are holding value at the moment. Appreciate the advice though.
