Paper in gas tank
Hi
I did something really stupid - my engine light came on and wanted to push in the metal circular lid in to see if it would have any effect. I used a straw with paper wrapper still on it. The metal lid gripped the straw /paper wrapper when I removed it and tore a really small piece of the paper wrapper off. I guessing it was about 1/16th of an inch or so. Should I be concerned about this - do I need to have the gas tank purged/cleaned? Thanks Dean |

You're okay, It'll just get caught by the filter. Tiny piece so nothing to worry about, plus paper straw wrappers are so thin it may even break down after enough time.

Is this like a banana in my tailpipe?
Seriously though, I agree it should be OK. |
