Looking for some reliable performance shops that do quality work in Upstate NY, a plus if its in Dutchess County!

i find it hilarious that people consider anywhere north of NYC as "upstate" when NY state goes north for 300+ miles from NYC.

Gotta love the NY sarcasm, lol. I'm in Beacon, NY, about 1.5 hours from Midtown. Looking for a good shop in my area, or just in Dutchess County, further up north is okay - I guess.

north jersey is your best bet. there's a bunch of bmw specialist shops around here.

I'm in Putnam and drove to Autocouture in NJ. Worth the trip. Checking out the cars in the shop is alone worth the trip.

I only had the required 60k maintenance done there - basically oil and plugs. I'd say they are slightly more expensive but I trusted them more as they work on these cars day in and day out. Younger guys which surprised me (I'm old lol) but very knowledgeable and big M fans/owners.

Give them a ring. Easy to talk to.

Labor cost is higher but the quality of the work is very good.
