s85, how does it work?
guys how does the engine in the m5 go from 507hp to 400? does it shut down 2 cylinders? thats what i heard, but then how does it break in those two cylinders since you are not supposed to put it in m mode the first 1200 miles. thanks

From what I recall, pressing the "Power" button allows the throttle butterflies to open all the way, otherwise they stop at something like 90% which is enough to affect power by 100 horses.

It's no different from placing an object under your gas pedal to not allow you to press it all the way. In a drive by wire system this extremely easy to do.
