Hazard light
I am new to BMW and have been driving my car mainly during the day. However, I was driving later in the afternoon today and noticed that the hazard light button was lit up even though the headlights were not on. I did have daytime running lights on so I think that is why the button was lit (and no it was not pressed). I assume that this is normal as a safety issue. The parking light switches were also slightly lit as well. I looked in the manual but there's no mention of this; the search in the forums came up empty. Thanks.

My hazard light has a slight red glow to it all the time, nothing that would blind you, but it's certainly not "off". Then again, I always have my adaptive headlights on.

Yet another German engineered thing. It's so you have easy access to it in case you need it. You can see it at all times.
