Does anyone have thier original MSO (Manufactures Certificate of Origin)?

I dont.

I bought by car thru military sales in Germany so I believe that is why. I didnt even pick it up or ship it, I had to get my buddy to do it.

I am trying to get stateside plates but my states will not let me get them with the original MSO.

Does anyone have thiers?

BMW calls it the MCO while other companies call is the MSO.

Now answer the Question, do you have it?

The Manufacturer Certificate of Origin should have been included with the paperwork involved with transfer of ownership. On a new car that's the title document. Have you asked your buddy that picked up the car if he has it? Is the car financed? The finance company may have it.

To answer your question, yes, I have mine.

My buddy is still in Germany so i will have to wait till at least tomarrow before I can get an answer. I also emailed the dealer over there. We will see.

When you buy a car stateside you don't get the MSO/MCO. It goes to the state and they then issue the title. The average consumer never takes possession of the MSO.

Cool but I didnt buy the car here, I bought it in Germany. I dont think I will get a reply to my emails until Friday.

He should have gotten it with the other papers that they gave him that had the Canadian Armed forces stamp on it. I also bought both my BMWs from Germany (armed forces) and we got the certificate along with the paper work that says what options we bought with the car. It says Certificate of Origin on the top and if you can't find it your bank should have a copy. Good luck.
