Mine are:

1. not RFTs, redesign to include a spare
2. make the split-folding rear seats standard
3. cooling the seats for sitting on leather in the hot summer (as an option)

Break down the packages by making more individual options. i.e. Heated steering wheel as a stand alone option.

Garage List
Redesign the driver side "inner door holder" so that the safety belt doesn't bounce on to hit it. Mine is chipped badly and the rubber is dropping pieces by pieces.

Make DCT an option for all E9X models.

1) Option for HUD
2) Never ever use flash memory again to load and store phone numbers. It's way too slow and interferes with the use of the DVD Navigation system
3) LED lights whenever possible (turn signals)

BMW addressed the flash memory problem with the hard drive. The LCI model has LEDs in the headlights and taillights. The one-button-controls-every-damn-thing iDrive button has been given an extra complement of buttons to help navigate more quickly with the iDrive system--a big improvement! So since 2 and 3 have already been addressed, here are a couple of additional suggestions:

2b) Please change the cup holders. They are too small for as high as they are and threaten to spill larger drinks. Check out Mercedes Benz's CLK cup holders. They do a better job of holding in larger soft drinks.

3b) Widen the fender wells a tad, and move the wheels out a hair for a wider stance. BMW knows what it's doing in the performance and handling arenas, but the wheels and tires define the overall appearance of the car. Look at what Nissan did when they went from the 350Z to the 370Z. The model got a wider stance, and this translated to better grip in the lateral Gs department.

1) comfort access standard; c'mon toyota and nissans have keyless start standard now.
2) high end audio upgrade option
3) run flats as option only

Don't the '09s have the wider rear stance?
