Is liqui moly 6200 0w-20 ok for this series? They say it’s formulated for Audi and Porsche but for just one round of oil change, is it okay for my 230i and go to 6600 the next time I have a change?

That's what my local shop uses munich motorsports in CT. That's what they put for my 1200 mile change.

You asked if its ok to use...i would say yes (to most any syn oil). You are obviously aware that the 6200 does not carry BMW certification for your model (but i would not be surprised if it did meet if submitted). And you note the 6600 liqi moly that is certified for meeting BMW ll 17fe.
I'd have no problem using the 6200-0-20, now and also for the future change.

Note: there is a specific section of this forum for oil related stuff...its not under general but under tech
