OBD splitter (I'm praying here)
I’m running a JB4 on my 2023 X4 M40i
I’m gonna spring for a Valvetronic exhaust system (likely Stone), which requires OBD access to fully function. Without it, I’ll have to run it with valves either open or closed (open…duh) I’m waiting to hear back from the excellent peeps at Burger Motorsports, but their initial assessment was that the JB4 will not do well with a splitter. That was not his final word though so I remain hopeful Any of you geniuses have any experience with my first world problem? Many thanks in advance to all who weigh in :~} |

No clue. But keep up updated hopefully it works but I mean the cars OBD has 1 single function to read and write data having it going multiple places shouldn't be a option. 🤷‍♂️

I have fi exhaust which plugs into oem plug and operates like stock exhaust in terms of controls. Also the JB4 can control the exhaust as well. In the app there’s an option to turn it on and off. By default the left turn stalk, top button can cycle through the options when you hold the button down (like when you clear the trip). So JB4 can keep it open at all times but probably only if your muffler is plugged into the stock plug on the car. Guessing the stone system may not have this ability |

[QUOTE=spaceman12;29641906]Maybe alternate solution could be to get a exhaust system that plugs in with the OEM valve controller plug for the mufflers? That way the sport/exhaust buttons can control it as if nothing changed.

My thoughts were that I’d have the same issues with all three systems. I’ll keep you posted as to how it goes |
