HVAC gremlin during cold start up
When I start my vehicle on a cool morning (39-55F), the fan from the automatic climate control stays on "2" despite having the HVAC on auto and set at 70F.
The workaround is to adjust the fan, either up or down, and press "auto." The HVAC will then increase the fan speed and warm the cabin to the desired 70F. Interestingly, the HVAC works perfectly regardless of temperature if I've driven the car at least once that day. I'm assuming that if I take it to the dealership, their response will be, "unable to duplicate at this time, no repairs recommended." |

i think it is normal, if it is cold, you dont want cold air at full blast in your car, the system stays at normal speed until the engine warms up a bit, then it will blast warm air into the cabin

it takes time for the car to warm up. I know it's a BMW, but still it is physically impossible to deliver you 70F warm cozy air on command in 2 seconds if the car has been sitting there all night long in the cold.
