328xi question
Dear members,
I have a 6 months old 328xi manual with 6k miles (purchased new). One thing I have noticed is that at idle, there is a slight 'helicopter' noise coming from the front. This happens randomly about 70% of the time. What is that? The noise is very subtle, but it is definitely audible. It sounds exactly as a 'helicopter'. Thanks. |

Helicopter = Ticking
Minimal ticking when cold is a common issue. There are multiple threads on this subject. Search 'ticking' and you'll find chapter & verse. If you're still concerned, bring it in to the dealer.
