Limp mode x 2 after yanking JB3... clear codes or not?
So I yanked my JB3 last week in anticipation of getting updated to v32 tomorrow... but had limp mode tonight. Got to where I was going, restarted car with no problems until limp mode came on again.
Questions: 1. Does this have anything to do with JB3? 2. Should I get the codes cleared or not before bringing it in? I'm thinking any codes might be helpful in diagnosing the problem if it's not related to JB3. However, if I did trip any codes with the JB3, will the dealer find out I had a tune and void me? Any help would be appreciated, thanks! |

Both limp modes came on after 20-30 mins of driving 100-120mph, 40-50 degree ambient temp. Never had limp mode before |

Do you have a GT1 nearby? You can always check the codes out and if they are not related, leave them in. Or just the next time the limp comes up, check it with an OBDII reader and see what it is. Either the uninstall went wrong or its not related to the JB3.
I got my car scanned by a nearby shop with a GT1 last week...cost like $35 bucks |

But wait... do you have 29.2 or above? If not, tuner detection isnt an issue. I see that your car is an 07...so if you havent had it updated since you bought it, then i think your perfectly fine.

So the only code that came up was p0238 "supercharger/turbocharger Circuit "A" high". This probably happened when I didn't seat the ECU connectors properly and the car failed to start.
I cleared the code and now it's at the dealers as we speak to figure out why it went limp twice.... keeping my fingers crossed |

Code 0238 refers to wire 10 if I recall correctly. This code would appear if you tried starting the car with the connector not fully seated. Is this a pin out or PnP?

Anyways, hopefully that cleared the problem, my car's currently at the dealer's getting checked out for why the turbo's cut out at high speeds and HOPEFULLY getting v32.1!!! |
