Is Saddle Brown The Same As Terra?

I am about to place an order this week on a 335i sedan and saw some photos in the photo forum of a terra interior... I assume this is saddle brown in the US?

Could be the chesnut though?

Anyone have any pics?

I will go Jet Black on exterior.

Thanks

Does Saddle Brown Sound Like Terracottta Interior? Hmmmm, No It Doesnt That Is Because They Arae 2 Different Things, Saddle Brown Is Dark Brown, And Terra Is Orangy Light Brown.

Saddle brown is different than Terra.

Saddle brown = Lighter base (Base yellow)

Terra = Dark base (Base brown)

Terra is superceded by chestnut for the LCI models (albeit not quite the exact same tones but mostly similar). Saddle first debut in the E92/93 is more brownish or natural brown in color.

You have that backwards. Saddle is light brown.

Plus doesnt Terra and Chestnut look almost the same yet they have totally different names as well.

I had saddle in my 335i and loved it. Now i have Terra and its nice. If I had the choice it would be saddle for sure.

mwarsh1 is right. Terra is a bit "orangy" while Saddle is a purer brown.

in a .25 inch of snow, you would expect to get traction when ia 3550 pound car is sitting on top of these tires, that have 100% of tread jerk off!

Chestnut is brighter than terra - i would rather put it this way: terra is dull compared to chestnut - chestnut is more like fox red...
