ok so i recently got a software upgrade to 29.2, i had the pre 29.2 before because my car is a march 07 and thats when i had he jb2 in....then after the software upgrade i put the chip back in and i attached the blue and green wires too. basically installed it the same way i would as the pre 29.2 software...
...tomm im going for a 32.1 software upgrade....will my warranty get void or sumthin because it read the chip because i attached the two blue and green wires? if yes is there anything to do to reset it or take the codes out??

I would just take JB2 out and let it go to the dealer for programming. Then put back it without blue/greens looms or up to JB3. Terry just lowered price on JB3 and is upgradeable for new progmans, he might even give you discount to try on new 32.1 I would think you'll be fine.

See if Terry's BMW code reader came in yet. Perhaps he could scan your car and possibly clear it.

im kinda worried iono what i should do....i was plannin to upgrade to jb3 as well and now im kind of confused on what to do
and if i will have any problems with it on my car because i have about 33k miles and is a everyday driver and driven spirited quite often

Simply remove the JB3 for the appointment. If you would like us to perform a code scan beforehand, give me a ring and we'll schedule you in.

im located in chino hills
i talked to terry and he said that there shouldnt b an issue as long as ther wasnt any limp modes...so i guess im a happy camper

a) if you get your 32.1 (and can also get some type of verification from the dealer that you, in fact, got 32.1), can you please report in the sticky thread for 29.2 lag? we'd love to hear your impressions and experience of the new progman.

b) could you post a new thread if you get 32.1 and then put JB3 on, and it's all good? While, in theory, it should not be an issue, to date we have not heard an OFFICIAL "ok" from Terry or Shiv that their tunes are golden with the new 32.1 progman. Granted, it is JUST BARELY hitting dealerships now, so I'm not griping, I'm just saying hopefully they are on the ball and get a car with the new progman in their shops soon for testing.

im actually looking for a review for the new software and would like to kno how it effects the car..makes it slower.. "engine noise (bs)"..lag...stuff like that..
i will post my iimpressions when i get it back i turned it in an hour or two ago but the sa didnt write anything on the paper about the 32.1 upgrade although he acknowlaged it.....??
