How hard is it to reach the plugs closest to the firewall?

It's pretty easy, you just have to remove the shroud around the wipers/windshield. I'm sure there are pictures some where, its the same as on a E46. Check out realoem.com to see where the screws are. Or search E46fanatics.com or m3forum.com if there isn't one on E90post...
I did mine at 75K and now i'm at 91k miles. I got the plugs from the Turner, make sure and don't get the special tool, they told me I needed it, but I didn't b/c we don't have direct injection.
