Does your dealer give you loaner cars over the weekend?
Hey guys, i'm going into service for my 3rd time.
Both times i was able to make an appointment for friday afternoon. Its the best time for me. Both times, they did not have it done until monday, so i picked it up on monday. This time, i called to set up an appointment for friday afternoon again, they say its not possible for them to hand out loaners over the weekend. and this time they will have more stuff to do since i need service, state inspection, emissions, and an AC fan problem. Now i have to call off work for a bit just so i can bring my car in at 9:30... Do your dealers allow you to set up appointments on friday afternoons and give you a loaner car? |

i think since it is nearly a month away, ill call back later and reschedule, this time i'll have to bring up my previous experiences, something i forgot to do today. if that doesnt work, when BMW calls you and asks you about your service, ill have to give them bad grades muhahahahahah lol.

Don't know what the difference is over a weekend, unless they feel it's more likely that the vehicle could be used for more miles due to owners being off from work. I was given a brand-new X3 for two days. I really don't get the dealership for not having things done when promised, especially when they have loaned out a BMW free of charge. That's bad business sense imho. I was having my oil changed and I ended up with an X3 for 2 days......My wife was off those days so I let her use it and drive the in-laws around, and we used it to haul off some junk that couldn't fit in our cars....somebody else had the same idea as there were scratches on the backs of the rear seats.....

we've had them for weeks at a time before (lemon volvo) but our dealer(s) don't seem to mind over the weekend. Hendrick had great loaners, ZSP everything and 135 verts

i've had a loaner for over a week and the dealership told me to keep it until I had time to bring it back. funny thing is, it was a 335i with sport, premium, etc. and I didn't want to take it back....so I took it on a little road trip to the beach, haha

I get loaners from my dealer (Ganley BMW) for as long or little as needed? I've been asked if I can wait but never forced to wait like I've heard of some other people on here. I've had them for a day, a week and over weekends. They don't care. I've had almost the full range of loaners as well, e46 325ci, e90 325i/xi, 328i/xi, 335xi, X3, and X6. My dealer doesn't loan 7's, 6's or M models. I've had so many loaners cuz I take the car in for anything that pisses me off, the SA thinks it's funny but he doesn't give a shit

My service advisor (who has since been fired for other issues) always use to get me a
BMW loaner (with only two exceptions...Camry instead..paid for by dealership). This included drop offs on any day of the week. I have had BMW loaners over the weekend on three or four occasions...maybe more. I think this is an individual dealership policy..not a BMW one. If they changed their policy..you may be screwed.
