Is this xenon cut-off correct? [huge pics]

Does anyone have cut-off pics of an e92 335i? I notice the cut off on mines is no longer striaght on the passenger side after the step angle increase, and my dealership refuse to do any adjustments. I know there is a step increase from drivers side to passenger like this __/__/ , but mines appear curvy. Am i nip picking here or is there something really wrong with my lights? i told my SA to take a look at it, and he said the foreman plugged it in to a G1 and performed bunch of testes which resulted in "within specs".

these pics were taken from inside, left and right of the car, about 25 feet away

found a darker area, and better shots of the cut off pattern

so in short, are my xenons okay? i could have sworn when i first got my car, the pattern was a lot better like this one

Looks fine to me. Relative to the parked Camry (I think) I don't see a problem in overall height either.

The pattern looks fine to me. The cutoff actually looks a little bit low.

Thanks for confirming then, but I could have sworn that the cut off was a whole lot better when i first had the car. it looked more like this pic below,

it just seem old that the drivers side step increase seem to be less and appears more like a striaght line all the way accross with just two tiny "hills" from center of each hid.

can you see the road? If not, I would worry, but it seems to be auto-leveling just fine.

E90s and E92s have a fuzzy cutoff. It is not that sharp and does not have much color from what I've seen so far. Yours looks correct.

the driver side beam is naturally lower than the passenger side beam so that you don't blind drivers from oncoming traffic. That's why the left side seems lower. You can adjust them though to make it even

That's going to blind anyone coming from the other side. Those look really high.

How high they are is all relative to the angle of the camera, angle of the car, and how big the wall actually is that it is being shot against. Without a good look at the rest of the factors it is a little hard to tell how high these are really pointing. I'm thinking the OP was looking more at the cutoff lines at the top of the shot.

yup, i was just using that pic as a reference on what i thought the pattern looked like. there is a step increase from the left towards the right, but its not as high and sharp as i thought it used to be. the cutoff is clean, but i thought the pattern was suppose to be better like the sample picture i posted.

and no i dont work for AT&T, but we are in the same building as them, its the main AT&T tower in downtown la.

Anyone notice more color out of their xenon headlights after a few years of use? I think the Osram bulbs have something to do with color and output at the cutoff. Osrams are generally more yellow-pink and turn a pink-purple after they age.

I just purchased philips d1s 4100k bulbs and they seem alot whiter than my previous Osrams. Philips in general output a more bluish-white-purple vs. Osram Sylvania bulbs. They have not broken in yet but they seem to have more of a bluish-white light output under the cutoff line. We'll see the results of them after they are fully broken in.
