should i buy out my lease?
hey everyone. ive been away from the forum for a while(moving).
anyways my question is should i buy out my leased 335i? total msrp was $42,xxx. and my total payments were $10,xxx leaving the car to be $30,xxx. bmw is offering me a deal that gets me close to $21,xxx. so im saving about $9,xxx. now if i get the "i" how do you think itll be during the winter? i know with snows only it sucked. im thinking maybee a set of studded snows or chains. being that we really only need them a few days of the year. give me your thoughts. should i do it? thanks guys

my MSRP was ~42K as well, my end of lease residual is 26K so I don't see why your is 30K unless you got it for 2 years. In any case this decision depends on how much a comparable car to yours is worth if you buy one. If it's more than it's a good deal.

Sounds like an awesome deal, if you like the car then do it.

Keep in mind that lease rates are pretty shitty right now... mostly because as you can see from your offer the residuals have plummeted. I think sometimes you have to put emotions to the side and grab an opportunity by the horns, considering that your car looks pretty awesome it's not like you're choosing between a civic and an E90 LCI.
I am a bit surprised though, it sounded like BMWFS is giving deals only for E90 330i cars but they didn't wanna negotiate the 335s as much, looks like that might be changing.

If the deals right of course you should.
Then again you might want to try something different. Remember. . . you have to pay for CPO |

think of it this way... your the only owner of the car and only you drove it... so you know for a fact if ur car is in "good condition" or not. so the question is.. if you drove your baby without any problems.. then why not?
