New to Forum. 335XI V3 Dyno's Inside!!

Hey guys, been reading the forums for the past year and figured I'd finally join. I have an alpine white 335xi (e92).

Performance Mods: UR Catless Dp's, Procede V3, Dual Cone Intake, UR BOV Kit, Prototype VK Motorwerks Intercooler.

No pics yet, weather is to crapy here in Chicago for any good picture but I did just get my car dyno'd! Weather was about 40F at time of dyno and I only had my torque settings at 80%!! 93 octane, with no race gas. Very Very Very happy with the dyno results and shiv is great guy! He has been a major help and is still actually helping me with a few things.

Im 100% positive I could have hit 400AWHP with a little 100 octane and 90% torque settings. Just was not to sure about the air fuels at the time because I know these 335's are different monsters than corvettes that at WOT must be below 12.0 A/F otherwise they blow up! lol Ill be redynoing soon but hope to a productive member of this community.

80%=13psi. If you left it at the default of 90% (15psi), you would have made another 20whp. Go back and run it again. And then get a cat-back on that thing. You could legitimately make close to 400whp on pump gas. And with AWD you could actually get it to the ground in that winter wonderland of yours!

Are you not supposed to be seeing around 390whp/ 380wtq? I am a little confused with your graph

If I would have bumped up the torque value to where they should be I would have! LOL

At 13PSI I made this amount of power which is amazing! Also for AWD, im making the same power as RWD.

Yeah I thought those numbers looked like Dinan Stage II. I know because I had my car dynoed before during the Dinan flash fiasco. Thats bad advertising for PROCede as I am sure you will see bashers start to qoute those numbers now.

LOL What are they going to bash?

13psi with only 93 octane.

I made a sh*t ton of power @ 80% torque settings and made the power being AWD!! Theres nothing to bash only

With the default User Torque settings and with an aftermarket cat-back, yes. It should have made right around 390whp. If not more. But with the factory cat-back and a detuned User Torque (80%), it is basically a low boost map and will come up short in peak numbers. Pretty good power for 13psi though. Solid power curve too. You can see that there is no unwanted throttle activity by the lack of "drop outs" in the midrange and run-to-run consistency.

lol.. facts don't mean anything when it comes to bashers. Just re-dyno with the default settings and post up the results. You basically ran a low boost map. Around these parts, there's no glory in that y'all.

I know but it just sucks that they would try to bash this. Its legit low boost dyno still making solid numbers and a large gain over stock.

Hows the A/F look? I know it was read from the tailpipe so it is about a 1 point higher right?

AFR looks fine. In order to get a good reading out of the factory cat-back, you need to put the sensor in the driver's side pipe and cram it way up there or else you will great fresh air contamination (reads lean) in the at low to mid RPM when exhaust velocity is low. Just make sure that AFR goes down to around 12:1 up top when boost is full and cylinder temps are at the highest.
