30.5k on my car and brakes arent snappy

so i have been dirivng a 328 loaner and the brakes on that car were INCREDIBLE! and it was a 328. How come my brakes on my 335 dont feel that great? the loaner had 10.5k on the clock and mine has 30.5k.

check your brake pads. my pedal is mushy and the brakes aren't grabby because there's about a hair's worth of thickness left in the pads.

I was going to suggest new pads or have the existing ones serviced.

Do you slow down when the light turns red, or speed up?

I have 31,000 miles on my car and the brakes feel fantastic.

You have warranty..take it in. Also, since you've gone over the 30k mark, you should have or should be taking your car in for the 30k mile service. I did that a week or so ago and they flushed out my brake fluid as part of the program.

mushy pedal is usually old brake fluid. do flush or bleed with fresh fluid, and it should be a lot better. Sometimes pads can get glazed over if they get really hot, and not perform as well, but usually oem pads are of pretty good quality.

dude, just check your pads and report back to us. if they're worn to the point that your noticing a mushy feel, then they should be replaced.
