OPF error solutions

Hi, so wondering what people have done to get round the error when fitting a mid pipe that removes the OPF?

Leib seem to have a device that plugs into the sensor harness but do these actually work?

Other option I’d thought of was a remap but not sure all maps will solve this problem?

Anyone have any first hand experience and solutions of this?!

Cheers!

I use BM3 and map it out. Bm3 is cheaper than a shop tune and you can do the tuning at yourself at home at your leisure. Best of all you can take it off and sell the licence on afterwards.

Just tick the box for "disable opf", download, job done.

But you need to have an early (pre summer 19 ish) non bmw updated obd tunable car for that.

If you don't want to / can't map then the leib kit seems best way.

And it's not just an error code it's a full on limp mode fault so your can't just ignore it.

Ive got decat downpipes and sport cats in place of opf. So it still passes MOT but i have to disable opf and cat checking in the map.

If you need any more info just ask :
